What is included in a standard moving cleaning?
Vacuuming and wet drying of all floors.
Wiping of skirting boards, doors, door frames and thresholds.
Cleaning window sills and elements, even behind.
Cleaning of electrical outlets and switches.
Window cleaning inside and outside (if possible).
Descaling and cleaning of toilet, sink, shower and bathtub (including underside).
Clearing floor wells and cleaning tile walls.
Cleaning mirrors and bathroom cabinets.
Drying lamps and ventilation grilles.
Cleaning the hob, oven and fan, including filters and grates.
Cleaning under and behind the stove.
Cleaning the refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher both inside and outside (freezer must be defrosted).

Washing of balconies, conservatories or windows in high or hard-to-reach places.
Dismantling and cleaning kitchen hoods or ventilation filters.
Move and clean behind heavy appliances such as fridge, freezer or washing machine (if it is not possible to pull them out without risk of damage).
Disposal of garbage, leftover furniture or trash.
Cleaning of extremely soiled spaces.
Basements, attic spaces, storage rooms and garages are usually not included in a standard moving cleaning.
Balconies, glazed balconies and conservatories are usually only included as additions.
Cleanup after pets, such as removal of fur, odors or allergens.
Handling pests, mold, or other cleanup needs.
Defrosting the refrigerator and freezer (this should usually be completed before cleaning begins).
Cleaning of blinds or other window details.
How do I prepare my home for the moving house?
All rooms, cabinets, closets and drawers should be completely emptied before starting cleaning. If something is left behind, it can negatively affect the cleaning result.
Defrost and empty the refrigerator well before cleaning. Place a towel and a bowl underneath to collect melt water. Cleaning appliances that are not defrosted can be difficult and can lead to additional costs.
The cleaning requires access to running water and working electricity for lighting and the use of cleaning equipment.
Lamps in all rooms help cleaning staff detect and clean stains and dirt more efficiently.
If there are areas that require extra attention, such as lime stains in the bathroom, hard-to-reach spaces or ingrained grease in the kitchen, notify the cleaning company in advance.
If there are pets in the apartment, please let them know in advance. It can affect allergies and the need for special cleaning agents.
If the residence has problems with pests, mold or other hygienic challenges, this must be addressed before the cleaning staff begins their work.
If there are hazardous materials or broken surfaces (e.g. cracked glass or broken electrical outlets) that could cause damage, please let them know in advance.
Ensure that the home can be ventilated during and after cleaning, especially if stronger cleaning agents are used.
