How should I prepare the property before move-out cleaning?
All rooms, cupboards, wardrobes, and drawers must be completely empty before cleaning begins. Any remaining items may affect the final result.
Defrost and empty the fridge and freezer well in advance. Place a towel and a container underneath to collect water. Cleaning appliances that are not defrosted may be difficult and can result in additional costs.
Cleaning requires access to running water and electricity for lighting and equipment.
Lighting in all rooms helps the cleaning team identify and clean dirt and stains more effectively.
Let us know in advance if certain areas require extra attention, such as limescale in the bathroom, hard-to-reach spaces, or built-up grease in the kitchen.
If pets have lived in the property, inform us in advance. This may affect allergies and the need for specific cleaning methods.
If there are issues with pests, mould, or other hygiene concerns, these must be resolved before cleaning begins.
Notify us in advance of any hazards or damaged surfaces (e.g. broken glass or faulty electrical outlets) that could pose a risk.
Ensure the property can be ventilated during and after cleaning, especially when stronger cleaning agents are used.
